WHO IS BITE LOCAL?

Bite Local is the new App on the block, taking on the big mobile food takeaway/delivery apps. We are fully Australian-owned and operated and are all about supporting locals. Consumers want to support local restaurants but they also want a great customer experience when ordering/receiving food.

The Bite Local story is yet another born out of Covid by Frankston dad Dave Wilton.

Seeing a hospitality industry on its knees due to Covid, and then made worse by fees imposed by delivery services, Dave felt there had to be a better option. So Bite Local was created to help restaurants and allow customers to support local.

Ashley Arnott, Nick Hughes, Frank Scerri and Scott Waters, all very experienced operators in their chosen field, have joined the management team. So we can bring Bite Local to more restaurants and customers.

Did you know some platforms charge a restaurant up to 35% of the order cost? These huge costs are often passed on to consumers so the restaurant can survive. Bite Local charges a very small percentage fee to allow us to provide top-notch service for the restaurant and to customers.
